Andrew J. Deniken, Director of Marketing
Andrew J. Deniken has 13 years experience as an Institutional Equity Sales Person on Wall Street. David Talbot is a widely recognized research specialist in the healthcare field with over 35 years of Wall Street experience. His track record as senior analyst at firms like William D. Witter, F. Eberstadt & Co., Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Needham & Company, and Drexel Burnham Lambert has been distinguished and his coverage has been broad-based. His expertise in the medical device and the hospital sectors has been cited by Institutional Investor Magazine, where he was ranked on the I-I All-Star poll for 11 consecutive years. Mr. Talbot's experience in Europe include coverage the leading Swiss pharmaceutical stocks at a pivotal time when companies like Roche, Sandoz and Ciba-Geigy were starting to adopt GAAP accounting (resulting in higher reported earnings), beginning to implement ADR programs, and many institutional investors were looking for well-positioned non-U.S. stocks as a hedge against the Clinton healthcare proposals. A few years after these reports which were published, Mr. Talbot founded and managed a $30 million closed-end fund that was traded on the London Stock Exchange and co-sponsored by HSBC James Capel. The Healthcare Industry Reform Investment Trust plc, was designed mainly for U.K. investors looking to diversify beyond pharmaceuticals into other sectors of the healthcare industry. Mr. Talbot is the former President of the NYC-based Health Industries Analyst Group, and a principal contributor to The Financial Analyst's Handbook. Mr. Talbot received his BA from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Laura Swartz, Senior Research Writer
Laura Swartz is a research writer at Crystal Research Associates. Prior to her employment with Crystal Research, Ms. Swartz worked as a part-time editor of university publications for the University of Florida Registrar's Office. Through the Gatornest program at UF, Ms. Swartz performed market research and analysis on various industries for outside organizations. Colleen Koski, Research Writer

Ana Leon Bella, Vice President of International Business Development
Ana Leon Bella is a facilitator in international business negotiations and works as Vice President of International Business development for Crystal Research Associates. She is based in New York City and has worked for international trading companies worldwide. Ana is fluent in several languages including: Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and English. She holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Cornell University and a M.A. in Dance Education from New York University. Her combination of language skill and international business experience has proven itself invaluable when integrated with fellow team members at Crystal Research Associates.
George Mahmourides, Research Writer
George Mahmourides joins Crystal Research Associates with over a quarter century of experience in the public, para-public, and private biotechnology-healthcare-pharma sectors, having recently established a private business practice, Knowledge Leads, Wisdom Follows, to help biotech companies address competitive intelligence and strategic planning issues. Mr. Mahmourides was previously a senior biotech analyst with Desjardins Securities and Groome Capital.com. With a doctoral degree in microbial physiology and an MBA from McGill University, Mr. Mahmourides started his career as a bench scientist at the National Research Council of Canada, followed by another appointment at the Biotechnology Research Institute in Montreal. He eventually accepted a tenure track position as a university professor in Nova Scotia. He has also taught at universities in Montreal and Toronto. Within the last 10 years, he has acted both as a director of R&D and director of business development for various firms in Toronto and Montreal.
