Corporate Snapshot
Juma Technology Corp. ("Juma" or "the Company") is an Internet protocol (IP) Convergence consultancy, managed services, and information technology (IT) systems integration company. IP Convergence is the migration of IP voice, data, video, mobility (wireless), and security applications onto a unified corporate network. IP Convergence promotes interoperability between complex telephone and data functions as well as improves productivity with business process enhancements. IP Convergence requires a high degree of specialized planning and engineering skill and a thorough knowledge of the many IT variables present in complex corporate environments. Juma believes that the majority of systems integrators do not possess the skills to provide best-in-class convergence solutions. Juma's highly skilled engineers are cross trained in best-of-breed technology solutions for both voice and data applications. Juma's proprietary managed services applications provide real-time contextual monitoring, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of converged voice and data networks. This application provides detailed status and analysis of failing or degraded systems, including their impact upon business processes. Juma's wholly owned subsidiary, AGN Networks, Inc., acquired in 2007, provides a smooth transition to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony services by unifying disparate global telecommunication assets. This enables significant cost and operational savings without the costly replacement of existing IT assets. AGN's proprietary technology can connect multiple locations with disparate communications platforms. This achieves the immediate efficiencies of a homogenous enterprise-wide VoIP telecommunication system, without the need for costly upgrades. It also provides the immediate cost savings that funds the migration of legacy systems to new technology.
