T3 Motion LogoYesterday, T3 Motion, Inc. (TTTM-OTC) announced plans to offer service and preventative maintenance for its electric vehicles through a nationwide program—known as T3 Fleet Services. The program is set to launch November 1st in the Western region of the U.S., with plans to expand services nationally by year’s end.

The benefits of the T3 Fleet Services program include:

  ■  routine onsite preventative maintenance inspections;

  ■  extended warranty coverage on all major vehicle components; and

  ■  free labor on normal wear items including belts, brakes, and tires.

In contrast to traditional brick and mortar repair shops, T3 Motion’s services will be performed by mobile repair stations called “T3 National Fleet Service Vehicles” that are equipped with frequently required parts. The Company reports that its fleet vehicles are capable of repairing regular electrical and mechanical failures and items. T3 Motion believes that these services are especially important for its national and government accounts, which rely on the Company’s electric vehicles as part of their daily operations, including patrols by law enforcement officers, security guards, and military personnel, among other initiatives.

In recent months, T3 Motion has focused on placing customers and service first on its list of corporate priorities. The Company expects this strategy to have a positive impact on its business and revenues going forward. Other recent efforts included a trade-in program for Segway owners who purchased any model T3 vehicle, which ended in mid-August.
