Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd. (“Hillcrest” or the “Company”) is a clean technology company developing high-performance power conversion technologies and digital control systems for next-generation powertrains and grid-connected energy applications. The Company’s core focus is improving the efficiency, reliability, and cost structure of electric systems by enhancing power conversion through its proprietary Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology. ZVS is a technology platform that reduces switching losses during power conversion, improving efficiency, lowering heat generation, and minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI), key limitations of conventional power inverter designs. ZVS technology has been deployed into two platforms currently at the prototyping stage: (1) ZVS PCS1000, designed for applications such as energy storage/microgrids, data center power conversion sidecars, and E-mobility chargers; and (2) ZVS Traction Inverter, targeting the global electric vehicle (EV) market. Following several years of technology validation, particularly in automotive applications, Hillcrest is entering a critical commercialization phase. The Company is prioritizing near-term revenue opportunities through accelerated development of its grid-focused ZVS PCS1000 platform, which offers shorter sales cycles and broader market accessibility, while continuing to pursue licensing and partnerships to monetize its EV technology. Together with new applications being assessed on high-value industrial use cases, these markets represent an addressable opportunity of over $180 billion.
