  • Differentiated Power Conversion Technology Platform. Hillcrest’s proprietary Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) inverter technology represents a potential step-change improvement in power electronics, materially reducing switching losses while improving efficiency, thermal performance, and electromagnetic compatibility relative to conventional designs.

  • High Efficiency with System-Level Cost Advantages. ZVS-based inverters can achieve peak efficiencies of up to 99.7% (versus 96-98% for conventional systems). Combined with lower EMI and reduced heat generation, these benefits may enable smaller system designs, fewer components, and lower overall system costs.

  • Large and Expanding Addressable Market Opportunity. The Company is targeting multiple high-growth sectors—including electric vehicles, energy storage, data centers, EV charging infrastructure, and industrial electrification—representing a combined addressable market estimated to exceed $180 billion.

  • Dual Commercialization Pathways (Grid and Automotive). Hillcrest is pursuing parallel go-to-market strategies across grid-connected systems (ZVS PCS1000) and EV traction inverters, providing diversified revenue opportunities and multiple pathways to adoption.

  • Entering a critical commercialization phase. Following several years of technology validation, particularly within automotive applications, Hillcrest is prioritizing its grid-connected power conversion systems platform, which offers shorter sales cycles and broader market accessibility relative to the automotive sector.

  • Near-Term Grid Commercialization Catalyst. The PCS1000 platform is advancing toward A-sample prototype demonstrations expected in 2026, targeting applications with shorter sales cycles and clearer near-term revenue potential, including data centers and energy storage systems.

  • Validated Automotive Technology with Licensing Potential. Hillcrest has completed initial validation of its EV traction inverter with a global Tier 1 supplier and is pursuing licensing and joint development agreements, offering a capital-efficient pathway to monetize its automotive technology.

  • Strategic Partnership Model Supports Capital Efficiency. The Company’s collaboration-driven approach enables accelerated validation, market access, and scaling without significant infrastructure investment. Key partnerships include Systematec GmbH and its Canadian initiative with Pasqua First Nation and Apeiron Resources Ltd.

  • Access to Non-Dilutive Funding and Canadian Market Entry. Through CleanPath Distribution Inc., an Indigenous-majority-owned entity formed in partnership with Pasqua First Nation #79 and Apeiron Resources Ltd., Hillcrest may gain access to government grants, low-interest financing, and other non-dilutive funding pathways while advancing commercialization and potential manufacturing opportunities in Canada.

  • Strong Intellectual Property and Software-Driven Advantage. Hillcrest’s ZVS platform is a combination of proprietary software and off-the-shelf hardware components, offering scalability, flexibility, and potential advantages over hardware-dependent alternatives.

  • Experienced Management and Technical Team. The Company is led by an experienced team with expertise in power electronics innovation, commercialization, and capital markets, supporting execution across development and market entry phases.

  • As of December 31, 2025, Hillcrest reported cash and cash equivalents of C$87,405. Subsequently, the Company strengthened its balance sheet by closing a private placement that generated gross proceeds of approximately C$4.8 million and settled roughly C$2.8 million of debt.
